One of the best cookies I’ve ever made hands down. I’ve never made sugar cookies before and these ones blew my expectations. Very fluffy and soft to chew and melts in your mouth. Can’t recommend these enough!!!

Hi, do you mean add an egg and then crack another egg for the yolk? My friend made the recipe and it didn’t quite turn out correctly, so I wanted to clarify for when I try to make some!

Over a decade or so ago I had come up with the perfect sugar cookie recipe. Unfortunately I lost that recipe and have been searching high and low for the base of the recipe. How I came up with mine what by using a basic sugar cookie recipe and adding other ingredients to it. This recipe is the closest that I remember to it. I am making them today for my father in law and husband for Father’s day. It’s been about 15 yrs since we have celebrated a holiday with them and this recipe I think will be the perfect ice breaker and to remind them I am still that same girl they once knew all those years ago. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
